Toshiba Thrive 10.1-Inch 16 GB Android Tab
I really like the Toshiba Thrive, if you can't tell from this rating. They use the Android system just like about everyone else, but that's about where it stops with the other tablets. This new Toshiba comes with ports that hold USB, an SD Card slot for additional memory, full HDMI, and a mini-HSB port. Also, the back cover comes off and they can jack you with an extra cost for different colors.
What's back there? Battery replacement, which you don't see with other brands.
With the software added, the Thrive has a native file manager so you can put your crap into neat folders. So what don't I like about it? It's got three LED lights on the side for battery power and other crap and that's just distracting. The removable back cover is difficult to pry off (even with a button to release it), and the cost is a bit high. How high? It starts at $429 for 8GB. Is there a trade off with the features? That's up to you!
